Frequently asked questions

Common questions about cropping images.

Can I enter exact pixel coordinates?

Not currently — draw the selection on the image. The selection dimensions are shown in pixels below the image as you draw.

Why does the selection look small on screen but the output is large?

The image preview is scaled to fit the screen. The crop uses your original full-resolution image, so even a small screen selection may correspond to many pixels in the original.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes — touch drag is supported. Touch and drag on the image to draw your selection.

Is my image uploaded to a server?

No. All cropping uses the Canvas API in your browser. Your image never leaves your device.
