Bisnep is built with privacy as a core principle. All tools run entirely in your browser. Your files are never uploaded to any server. This policy explains what minimal data we do collect and why.

1. Who we are

Bisnep (bisnep.com) is a free online tool service providing PDF and image processing tools. We operate entirely online and do not have a physical office.

2. What data we collect

Files you process

We do not collect, store, or transmit any files you upload or process using our tools. All file processing happens locally in your browser using JavaScript. Your PDF and image files never leave your device.

Website usage data

We may collect anonymous usage data through standard web analytics (such as Google Analytics) including:

  • Pages visited and time spent on the site
  • Browser type and operating system
  • Country of visit (not precise location)
  • Referring website

This data is aggregated and anonymous. It cannot be used to identify you personally.

Contact form

If you contact us via our contact form, we collect your name and email address in order to reply to your message. This data is stored securely via Formspree and is not shared with any third parties. We do not add you to any mailing list.

Cookies

We use minimal cookies. Analytics cookies (if used) are anonymous. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time without affecting the functionality of our tools.

3. How we use your data

  • To understand how people use the site so we can improve it
  • To reply to messages sent via the contact form
  • To display relevant advertising through Google AdSense (see section 4)

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Google AdSense and advertising

This website uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may use cookies to show ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

Our tools use the following third-party JavaScript libraries, all loaded from public CDNs:

  • pdf-lib — for creating and modifying PDF files in the browser
  • JSZip — for creating ZIP archives in the browser
  • SheetJS — for reading Excel files in the browser
  • Mammoth.js — for reading Word documents in the browser
  • Font Awesome — for icons
  • Google Fonts — for typography

None of these libraries receive your file data. They run locally in your browser.

6. Data retention

We do not store any files you process. Contact form messages are retained only as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry. Anonymous analytics data may be retained for up to 26 months.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Request access to any personal data we hold about you
  • Request deletion of your personal data
  • Opt out of analytics tracking by using browser Do Not Track settings or a browser extension

8. Children's privacy

Our service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent update. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
