How to convert Word to PDF
Upload your .docx file and click Convert. The document is converted to HTML using mammoth.js, then a print dialog opens so you can save it as a PDF using your browser's built-in Print to PDF feature.
What is preserved?
- Text and paragraphs — fully preserved.
- Headings — H1, H2, H3 structure.
- Tables — basic table structure.
- Bold and italic — inline formatting.
- Images — embedded images.
What is not preserved?
Complex Word features like headers, footers, page numbers, text boxes, and custom fonts may not convert perfectly. For critical documents, Microsoft Word's built-in Save As PDF option gives the most faithful result.
